Welcome!
Congratulations on your decision to become a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant! We are so excited to have you as a member of Shonda's Superstars! You are a member of the Shonda Durham Unit and the National Area of Linda Toupin.
As your director, Shonda is your business advisor. She will be here to guide you in your Mary Kay career. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Success will be yours because you will decide your goals, your pace, and the time you will dedicate to your business.
As a new consultant it is very important that you start scheduling and holding your 1st appointments as soon as you receive you starter kit, because what you lack in experience you can make up for with enthusiasm. Activity will provide your greatest sense of learning. Your first challenge is to practice on 15 faces in your first 15 days of receiving your starter kit. When you do you will be treated to a personal makeover session with Shonda prior to your business debut. And the best part of all is that your 15 friends or family that helped you achieve your challenge get to join in on the fun.
The first few weeks in your Mary Kay career can really set the pace for your future. You'll want to complete the list of items listed on "what to do in your 1st fifteen days" and listen to your welcome CD found in your welcome packet. If you have not received a welcome packet please contact Shonda's office asap at (606) 309-3008. You can also print the checklist below.
